Duncan Speakman has been working on a series of limited editions video frames. Designed as self-contained units of looping video, the first example is available to see in the studio reception. The piece is a collaboration between Duncan Speakman and choreographer Christine Lockhart and offers a simple study of physical struggle, sometime individual, sometimes between people.. jumping as high as you can, grasping for the surface when underwater for too long…the split seconds when you feel like you’ve defied the human condition.
